family of Canadian pilgrims donated a kilo of gold at Sachkhand Sri Harmandir Sahib
FROM AMRIK SINGH AMRITSAR JULY 8 A resident of Canada Meher Singh Chandna has paid homage by donating one kg of gold at Sachkhand Sri Harmandir Sahib here today. He has presented this gold in the form of 10 coins of 100-100 grams. Mr. Meher Singh said that it was his son late Mandeep Singh Chandna’s wish has been fulfilled. He said that there is no other rate greater than Sachkhand Sri Harmandir Sahib, from where one gets spiritual and mental guidance. He prayed that Guru Sahib would bless humanity with peace and do good to all.On this occasion Additional Secretary of the Shiromani Committee Mr. Mr. Partap Singh said that daily millions of devotees pay obeisance at Sachkhand Sri Harmandir Sahib and offer offerings at Guru Ghar. Meher Singh Chandna has served gold. He also thanked the family of the devotees. On this occasion intimate member Bibi Gurpreet Kaur, Additional Secretary Partap Singh and Manager Sulukhan Singh Bhangali Meher Singh and his family were honored with Guru Bakhshish Siropao and a picture of Sachkhand Sri Harmandir Sahib.
