All efforts are being made to give uninterrupted power supply to approximately 4.14 Lac esteemed consumers of Holy City Amritsar. Due to acute shortage of staff in PSPCL and severe hot season, PSPCL is always ready to resolve the Power supply related complaints of the consumers. BY AMRIK SINGH AMRITSAR JUNE3 To Resolve the power supply related complaints, Hon’ble PWD & Power Minister S. Harbhajan Singh Ji/E.T.O. today inagurate ” No Supply Complaint ” Project. For this, PSPCL has arranged 65 no. CHB (complaint handling bikes), 5 no. CHW (complaint handling wagons) and 1 no. CHH (complaint handling wagon with hydraulic lift) manpower through outsource employee of M/s. Vision Plus Company, to timely resolve the electricity related complaints of the consumers under various divisions of City Circle Amritsar and East division of Sub-urban Circle Amritsar. Each CHB will have group of 2 no. persons, each CHW will have group of 8 no. persons and 1 no. CHH will have group of 8 no. persons . They will perform their duties round the clock. Hence PSPCL has engaged 208 no. persons including rest relievers to resolve the power supply related complaints of the consumers in Amritsar City. Consumers can lodged their complaints on 1912 i.e Centralized complaint centre or at respective nodal complaint centres through their mobile numbers. After lodging the complaint, staff of the nodal complaint centre will immediately transfer the complaint to the concerned CHB of the area to resolve the complaint immediately. After resolving complaints, a revert message will be delivered to Nodal Complaint Center by concerned CHB and compliance message will be delivered to the respective consumer regarding status of the complaint at their mobile number. All the employees will perform their duties round the clock through out the year in shifts.
