Giving awareness message, Civil Surgeon Dr. Rajinder Arora said that with the onset of summer season, children and the elderly are at risk of getting heat stroke in and out of the house. There is a fear of water shortage in India. This can lead to dehydration problems, weakness, headaches and vomiting, muscle weakness, fatigue and frequent nausea, dizziness, headache, abdominal pain, loss of appetite, etc. There is always the fear of problems.
Dr. Rajinder Arora said that to avoid heat, when you go out of the house, you must eat something, use lemon water instead of cold drink. This eliminates dehydration in the body. Keep children and the elderly away from eating out in the summer, fried foods sold outdoors, etc., wear cotton clothes or loose clothing when going out of the house to keep the body warm, keep the child out of school. Use an umbrella when returning home, cover doors and windows to keep the house cool, and avoid going out in the sun without work. He said that when the symptoms of heatstroke appeared, ORS The solution should be given and medical advice should be sought.
